Pastor Bryant began his tenure as pastor of MUMC in 2023. He is a graduate of Boston University School of Theology class of 2017 and was fully ordained in 2022. A lifelong Methodist, Bryant believes in the inclusion of all people in the life of the church and teaches that everyone has something to teach us about the love of God. His hobbies include cooking and training JiuJitsu. He and wife, Kristina, have two children: Camilla and Ella.
Sally Bailey has been a steady hand conducting sacred music at MUMC since 1984. She and her husband Dave first joined the choir and church in 1979. Her career in music education was spent in our local public school, community college and in her private piano studio as well. Sally enjoys hosting and gatherings, especially with her extended family in their cherished family home on Cape Cod.
Nairobi has been sharing her musical gifts professionally since 2008 and has served as Praise Band Leader at Marcellus United Methodist Church since 2018. Her love of God and passion for worship shine through as she leads the congregation in praise and song. Outside of church, Nairobi is an avid sports fan, especially when it comes to the Los Angeles Kings and the New England Patriots. She also enjoys spending time with her wife, Liz, and their son, Micah.
Karen Lewien has been a steadfast member of MUMC and became our organist in 2007. Karen began playing the organ at a young age. She has a background is in education and most recently worked in a drug rehabilitation halfway house. Her giving and generous spirit is cherished in many ways including her love of baking delicious cakes and baked goods for the congregation. Karen is often joined at church by her daughter Katherine, son-in-law Matt, and grandson Carter.
Kelly Andrews has served as the Administrative Assistant at Marcellus United Methodist Church since 2022, following a career of more than 40 years teaching computer software classes through organizations such as Computron, Jobs Plus, and Onondaga Community College. Her cheerful spirit, compassionate care, and keen attention to detail truly make her the heart of our church network. Kelly and her husband, Dennis, reside in Camillus.
